What to do with all those extra t-shirts from past camps. One group took them and made a quilt for the youth pastors birthday. Another great idea is to slide them over the ceiling tiles in your youth room. Sounded silly to me at first when the youth director at FUMC Dothan (LeeAnn Boykin) told me to do it. But she is a youth guru so I tried it. It was fantastic. The kids loved them. They started telling stories and memories from each camp. I could not believe how it changed the atmosphere of the room. The kids bring people in just to see the ceiling. My wife topped it off when she made pillows out of the rest of the extra T-shirts.
