"We are the Body"
The day before your next youth class lay out as many pieces of white construction paper as you can get your hands on. Place them side by side on the floor in a large rectangle. Using a large (BLACK) magic marker write - We Are The Body and other encouraging notes across the grid. If you have a motto for your youth group - this is a great place to put that as well. Be sure to write this out with large bold letters. It is also important that your letters go over the grid and onto the next page whenever possible.
Now pick up all the papers and shuffle them together - when each teen comes into the classroom hand them 1 or 2 of the papers. Instruct the teens to completely fill in the pages on their papers with colored markers leaving no white spaces left.
-Once done - collect the sheets - and then go on with your normal lesson. (a great lesson here would be how we are all part of God's body and if we try to do anything ourselves - we cannot.)
If possible - laminate these during the week until the next youth meeting.
With the following meeting - challenge all the kids to figure out how the sheets fit together to make a message. Once they have them all put together and the puzzle is complete - Take a picture of the group in front of their new puzzle.
If possible - take the puzzle and number each sheet so you know where it goes - glue them onto a board or something and hang this in the youth room, hallway, etc...
