About PSYM:
For almost two decades, Perkins School of Theology at SMU has offered PSYM, with curriculum dedicated to nurturing youth ministry professionals. The variety of flexible course offerings is designed so that you can tailor your participation to one-day, three-day, or weeklong sessions to meet your professional development needs. A comprehensive and expanded Foundations course can help new directors begin their ministries while offering helpful insights to veterans as well. The Individual Courses provide seasoned veterans with the opportunity to dig deeper and develop new skills.
So, whether you are a beginning youth leader who needs to learn the basics, a veteran seeking deeper theological perception and training, or a Sunday School, confirmation, or Christian education leader or volunteer, at PSYM you will be taught, nurtured, fed, challenged, inspired, and equipped to minister to youth.
Perkins School of Youth Ministry will take place at Highland Park United Methodist Church, 3300 Mockingbird Lane, Dallas TX 75205.
