Plan fewer activities and more naps. Make naps (long ones) regular parts of youth retreats-- a mandatory "activity" for overscheduled, stressed out teenagers. Start with a "naptime" story (let the teenagers bring their favorite childhood book to share with the group). Take naptime seriously.
