Servant Heart Ministries is a collection of service opportunities available for all ages. SHM offers Urban Servants, Mission Minnesota, Mobile Missions, Breakaway and custom experiences for all ages.  SHM are mission camps offering YWM Members free registration with every 10 paying participants. Covenant Members always come to Kingswood for free, up to $500/year! 

Servant Heart Ministries is based at Kingswood Camp and Retreat Center, an ACA Accredited Minnesota United Methodist camp. Participants provide home repair, work with churches, as well as help other agencies do vital work in as many communities as possible. Rural and Urban settings available.

Our Mission is To Follow Christ’s Call To Serve Others. We do this in Sunday-Saturday, pre-scheduled, multi-group camps hosting as many as 70 participants each week.  If our dates, location or program do not fit your needs, we offer custom, year-round experiences.

A Servant Heart Ministries custom experience can be shaped in many ways. Your staff can create and lead the program, or have our staff lead the experience. You can choose your length of stay, how many work days you wish to serve, as well as adding free day or adventure activities into your schedule. Check out the list of possibilities below.

Kingswood currently offers: team challenge course, high ropes course, recreational tree climbing, rock climbing (off-site), canoeing (river and lake), Boundary Waters canoeing, backpacking, mystery camps (aspects of adventure and service), and more.

Our Discount: For every 10 paying campers, one YWM member comes free.
