Sierra Service Project offers UMC-affiliiate, affordable, short-term service projects on Western Indian reservations and in Los Angeles. Small, personal, life-changing....in the tradition of John Wesley!
Welcome to Christian service-learning for youth groups at its best. Sierra Service Project has decades of experience providing turnkey, faith-rich service experiences for high school youth groups. We hope that you will be one of over one hundred churches that will join us for a life changing experience this summer.
Sierra Service Project offers your group:
• Faith-forming, week-long immersion service experiences with a balance of hard work repairing homes, cultural education, and deep worship and reflection.
• An unforgettable introduction to Native American culture on western Indian Reservations.
• With over 30 years of experience, high-quality, safe programs.
• Affordability: our price of $310 per week includes food, tools, building materials, and evening programming – everything for your group except transportation to and from the project site.
• Small size: Up to sixty-five youth and counselors per week supervised by seven staff members.
• Unique programs in Honduras and South Los Angeles.
